The Fool's True Cultivation

1194 Words
"I was just waiting for you" The Fool heard Aeries chuckle and blanked for a moment. The Fool took some seconds to understand something, but by then it appeared to be late 's**t, I've been had!' That bastard! He screamed inwardly before preparing to use his dormant replica technique, Water Clone. But to his horror, he discovered that he couldn't use this safety measure! "You bastard... Ahhh!" The Fool made one frantic scream before being enveloped by Aeries Blood red Skill that formed a Red cloud. Aeries did not have it easy either. Before he could express enticement over his successful attempt, Rogue's attack had swept over him. [Way of Finesse!] He used his last-minute preparation to change the course of the incoming strike. With a low huff, he sent his circulated. heaven and earth Qi towards his palms and fingers. They glistered with hidden strength and he nodded with satisfaction. 'This should do' His hand suddenly grabbed the incoming Hammer's head and made a sharp turn with it before he released it. At that short moment, his sleeves shattered to unrecognizable shards and even his reinforced skin broke under such perverse pressure. But this was truly worth it, Rogue's hammer flew back with renewed vigor, daring to clash back at its owner. . But still, even though Rogue was caught impromptu, he did not fret. For a weapon to be called a Ranked weapon, Power wasn't all there was to it. Before one could use a ranked weapon, he had to 'Refine' it first with his Soul. This was exactly like a b*****e technique, the Owner of the artifact had to seal his Soul Brand on the weapon before he would use it satisfactorily. Then a sort of connection would be established between owner and weapon. It could be commanded to reduce output or even suspend on the air. . With this Rogue was more than assured that it was a flimsy trick to deter his concentration. He put his mind and tried to halt his weapon's movement... His face changed from ordinary to one of horror when the weapon jerked but did continue forward. "What have you done to Falmouth, !—" [Bang!!] Same as The Fool, he was flung outwards, his eyes still fixed in shock. Aeries disdained to reply "This is everyday Physics... Newtonian's Law of Inertia. With such momentum, your Falmouth cannot come to a complete halt regardless of how sharp your commands are... You should read more." The distance between Aeries and Rogue was around 50 meters. To an ordinary person, it could be large enough to host a race, but to a Martial General, this space wasn't enough to have an all-out fight, one would be in fright that he could be in the region of his attack. . 'He's still alive, impossible!' Aeries exclaim inwardly. From the billowing fume, a burnt figure emerged with smoke sizzling out from his tattered clothes, and his hair singed to rags. This wasn't Rogue as one would've thought but instead The Fool. "Turns out everybody had greatly underestimated you" Aeries eyes regained their calm. He had felt something was off since his second chance. First, why does The Fool have much more authority than Rogue, who in fact, should be the strongest in their group? . Seeing as Troll wasn't that docile towards The Fool, Aeries concluded that only Rogue was somehow conquered to do The Fool's bidding. It was then he remember something that had happened in the alternate time. Then, he foolishly thought speaking warm words could get Rogue to his side, but then The Fool had Stylishly sprinkled a sort of charm perfume on Rogue... Making him conclude that Rogue was being Controlled. . For someone to subdue Rogue, he had to be in a higher realm. Aeries had suspected The Fool to be at the 3rd Martial General Realm... but he made a blunder. The Fool was strong... terrifically so. j "You'll pay for this! I'll make you pay! " Even with such desperate figure, The Fool had only fleshy wounds, but his eyes shown with weariness, obviously it wasn't easy to come out unharmed from a full-blown attack with Aeries techniques ... Who would've thought this little bug she had made preparations for turned out to have such deadly poison. Right... Aeries barrage had torn out The Fool's mask, showing a teeny girl with a wrinkled face. 'This shouldn't be because of my attack, might be a recoil from a sort of poison art she had cultivated' Regarding The Fool's defect, Aeries thought of the poisonous twin daggers she used on him the last time, "Just roll out and bare your neck!" The Fool's angered scream shook the remaining unstable structures to fall with a rumble. "Rogue! Use your denoting technique to block him, Troll! get out here, don't worry about holding back, cripple your vitality to temporarily boost your Realm. We've caught a big fish this time." The Fool grinned wickedly with her eyes wholly fixed on Aeries. "Scourge, You need to die." Rogue's eyes glistened. he saw the real intent behind each of their 'player names' him being Scourge... doesn't that tells of destruction and catastrophe? He needs to die! Such a player shouldn't be allowed to grow. Or else his relationship with Mama could become destabilized. Only Troll had no other reaction except one of dismay, terror, and in- reconcilement. Impossible, my Cultivation... it's gone!' . Curse that bastard. All three pairs of eyes were strained on Aeries. All of them blazing red. "You want to kill me, does this mean I should bare my neck out for you? Fools! If any of you have the ability, come and take my head by yourself." He sneered without backing down. Show a river of kindness to one who offers a cup of water... Kill even to the 9th generation of the bastard that try to take your life... Bloody Karma! As of now, he wasn't a realm higher than he was in the first battle. But different from before, his mind had strangely calmed to resemble an ocean. The reason he did not attempt to break through after killing those vagabonds was to store in the Qi energy in his body... One enough to either unleash an attack of a cultivator at the peak of Martial General Realm, or a barrage of attacks at the 2nd Martial General Realm. . It was from this that he had fought undaunted and even inflicted injuries on The Fool and Rogue... the reserves had run out after the blast at The Fool, but still, he had his Qi stored up in his Shang Cloud. . "Don't let him escape! Rogue, do it now!" The Fool let out a snicker. She watched Aeries with a predatory glare. Before hitting the vein on her wrist to draw blood. "Forbidden Technique! Poison Cloud Domain!" Likewise, Rogue did the same, "Forbidden Technique, Hammer of Arch Demon!" "Humph! Since you've all turned O.P, I'm not one to shy out, am I? Forbidden Technique, Blood Form!" [Materialization of Soul! Ace of Gluttony] The whole skies turned a terrifying color of black.
