         His eyes turned feral and he looked at the incoming beast with scorn and a hint of playfulness like a tiger looking at worm. The Demon kangaroo was shocked, what just happen to this Bratty Human, just now he was as weak as a fly but now he suddenly woke up and is filled with strength. And the aura radiating from him, it looks like the aura of an ancient devil. It didn’t believe such type of miracle could happen all of a sudden, yes it should be a trick for me to think he had become strong again to scare me…… ‘Humph, humans and their trickery, I’ll see how you’ll look when you see that am not falling for it’ It screamed in its mind’ It roared and charged out with renewed speed at Scorch.

            Aeries looked at the incoming beast and thought in his mind, was this the same speed It used against me before, the same speed that I thought was too fast, now it’s just……… weak, too weak, everything about this beast now looks too weak.

Everything seemed to slow down as Aeries relaxedly lifted a finger and pointed at the beast, Immediately the air contracted and formed a sharp object the shape of an arrow and flew out with great speed. This was the very Air Technique Cultivated by Brooke that he had picked up, the requirements was for one to be at the Martial Warrior Realm before it could be used, this was why he had never used it before against any other beast, now; although he hadn’t crossed the bridge yet, he could feel that it was only a thin line before he would.

“SHOOU” The arrow sped up and with a Bang sound caught up and slammed into the beast body, making it fly off.

            “Let’s end things now shall we” Aeries suddenly sped up and jumped in the air, in his sea of consciousness, the Dragon seemed to renew it’s vigor as it also roared and charged out angrily. Aeries again clasped both hands together in and axe like motion and Slammed it heavily against the head of the Demon Beast the loudest Bang! Sound in all the fight, the same time the Dragon crashed with the gate. The gate offered almost no resistance this time around as it immediately shattered into pieces as the dragon soared happily into the light, the same time a ding notification of the system rang out.

The notifications scared Aeries to no end as they kept on ringing in his head. Although he had just leveled up to the Martial Warrior realm, he didn’t feel any different because all the pure Qi stored in his body had been used up feeling him dried and exhausted.

              Aeries unsteadily walked over to the wide eyed Sheena, he then took out a garment from his Space ring and tried to cover her weakened body before he stopped in shock, through the ragged clothing she wore, he could still see some parts of her body, and those parts he saw were ridden with scars of various proportions and age. Only the person who did such damnable act did not make any scar on her face and left it as beautiful as it was, maybe to give outsiders a wrong view. He suddenly became apathetic and gritted his teeth, not knowing who exactly to blame.

     Sheena saw all of this and a mixture of expressions clouded her mind; Pain, intense embarrassments and then dejection. For the first time in her life he wanted to find a quiet place to crawl and hide.

            No one knew what kind of pain and hard work she had gone through to support her sickly old grandfather. Her parents had both died when she was just 5 years old and all of her memories were of her grandfather protecting her from assassins and mean people, taking care of her all the time. That was until calamity befell them and her grandfather’s cultivation was crippled and he ran with her to this backwards city, leaving him very aged and injured with only her to fend for both of them.    

         More than once, she had thought of freely selling herself to a w***e house or all this Slick pants Princes, with her looks she knew they would pay high for her. But the last bit of pride had stopped her from giving up her virginity in such a worthless and ungiven manner. People who go into p**********n were, in her mind, regardless of the cause weak in body, mind and heart. You were forced in to it? There was nothing for you to eat or drink? You owed so much money so you were coaxed into it? There had always and would always be a second choice, even though it paid less and made you struggle more.    

                 So she had chosen to work her ass off, obtaining several burns from bakeries and cuts from Demon beasts, with her attaining her current cultivation and with some pills she had managed to keep her current facial looks, and she wasn’t bothered about wasting money to fix all other parts of her body. It was until she saw Aeries staring at her body while saying motionless did she knew what shame was. ‘He had seen it! What would he think of me now’ she unconsciously shifted from the position she was and refused to raise her head no matter what. Although she had wanted to run away from here and hide as fast as her legs could carry her, unfortunately the legs in question could carry her no where.

        “Oi, Woman, tell me who f*****g laid his hands on you and the person who dare to allow that right now, how dare those f*ckers touch someone I have already set my eyes on…… They would be the first humans I skin alive soon. If they are forcing you in any way you will have to come with me, in my tent you can find the shelter you want." Her heart suddenly leapt up to her throat in a loving excitement, although he had mistaken the situation he still did not hesitate to stand for me, this….. BA DUMP. She immediately relaxed and the long avoided Unconsciousness finally invade her mind.

         Aeries was truly enraged right now even to the fact of forgetting the flirty words he had just spoken now due to the influence of his new body, when he had seen her body, something deep inside of him had torn open. She had reminded him, in every way of his dear mother back on earth. With all the sun burns she got from the farm while cultivating rice, back pains and thorns on her legs and arms, his once healthy and gorgeous mother had turned into an old frail lady even though she hadn’t even passed 50. 

          He had always been praying then, wishing a huge blessing could come from the heavens and change his pitiful family’s life, but nothing ever changed, it seemed the heavens was looking at them from the corner of its eyes. He couldn’t say anything then, he had always bottled up his feelings and worked extra hard for them, that was why when he saw those killers trying to harass her, all hell went loose in his mind, and then only thing he saw was red. But even then, he could not save his family and died with deep regrets. That was why, when he saw this weak injured girl in front of him he vowed in his mind not to let her suffer. He vowed in his mind to change what he had always tried to ever since…… Fate!!

            He picked up the unconscious girl and took her back into the cave, fighting to stay awake he managed to take out clothes from his Space ring to do a make shift blanket and placed her in it, immediately after, he collapsed straight away to the ground, the fight before was too tiring, and after going through his difficult breakthrough, all the energy in his body had faded away. He took out a protective artifact he had gotten from the dark python’s cave and set it up around both of them, before closing his eyes to the warm embrace of sleep.
