IDOLIZING CHAOS

Aeries conviction part 2

    A single ray of sun light shone down and pierced through the eyelids of the sleeping beauty Sheena, and abruptly woke her up from her sweet dreams. She suddenly felt an itch on her body and noticed she was lying on a grassy field, close to the entrance of the cave. Beside her was a ruffled make shift blanket she suspected she had slept on moments ago,

    ‘Did I not die from the terrific Demon Beast attack…. How could I still be alive’ she murmured in her heart, she was greatly astonished how she had managed to escape death and even got herself wrapped up in such cozy blanket.

   After that, her expression changed turning to perplexion

     . Besides her was a boy not much younger than her dressed only in leather slacks and sitting in a meditation position, the air around him was majestic and streaks of lightning flashed all around his body emitting STRII STROI SRII sounds. She opened her eyes wide and was transfixed on the spot as countless new memories clouded her mind. Before she then got a clear understanding of her present situation. The young boy in front of her was the very hero who had saved her from the throngs of death and even though both of them did not know each other, he still offered her full protection from all danger, truly a Knight in shining armor. But this Knight seemed to have broken through to the Martial Warrior Realm!!

                External reflection of the inner body stage, using Inner Qi to form animate objects, this was the benefits of the Warrior Realm! The lightning and bending of air around him was a great proof that he had successfully reached that level. Sigh! His what, 16? Am very sure he isn’t even up to 18 years old and has already passed me by a huge Realm! Here I am 18 years yet still stuck in the 8th level of the Body Foundation Realm.  

The thick scent of meat wafted through the forest into her nostrils as she turned away in embarrassment. A terrifyingly large beast leg was being barbecued above a fire. Occasionally, fat would trickle down, giving out a sizzling sound.

‘This……. This….. too savage!’ it was the very kangaroo’s poor body that had been desecrated and butchered to the waffling meat in front of her.

“Oi, woman…. You are fully awake aren’t you, can you tell me your name, what’s your name and where are you coming from?” Aeries walked up to her and recited the popular cliché stuff used in movies for patients that had just woken up from concussions, was that what doctor’s really said? He never knew as he hadn’t been in that situation before. Crunching next to the wide eyed girl he felt pretty cool for saying one of the lines he had been planning on pillaging in this life,

     “Don’t you know that it is rude to ask for a lady’s name without giving out yours first?” the lady mumbled with her eyes never leaving the ground.

 “I’m sorry I didn’t mean that..” Hearing that Aeries seemed to come to a pause, ‘first time in my life I tried to act cool in front of a girl and look at what I’ve gotten myself into’

“ I am Aeries son of Thores from house Kriegar, a high noble of the Joran Kingdom and even though am not even yet 15, I have already cultivated to the Martial Warrior realm”

      He flaunted his specs casually, although he knew he shouldn’t be bitching about everything, still it was a wired drive in his and every male mind to flaunt their selves in front of girls.

       “Humph Humph, there are so many lies just in that one sentence alone, what not yet 15, your bone structure alone is already that of a 16 year old boy still you tell lies, and how could a noble of like you said ‘High rank’ be in the woods fighting against Stronger Demon Beast to death. While not having a single guard! Think am a fool, this lady here knows everything about the so called nobles and you don’t even one inch look it, just the way you eat alone gives you out” Another misunderstanding, Aeries felt like crying, you wanted my name now I’ve given you my name why are you now so unbelieving, eh! You need the truth somebody tells you the truth then you start doubting, forget, forget, maybe am not fit to have any ………….

“But am really Aeries Kriegar…… see I’ve told you everything, it’s you that don’t believe me, at least tell me your name, or do you want me keep on calling you ‘oi lady. Oi woman’ every time? it’ll be tiring for me to keep addressing you like that, especially since you really surpass all the women I’ve seen”

     Aeries didn’t even put to mind the last part of what he said, he if did he would’ve cursed out in his mind, lustful self you choose this time over all to come, shame on you!

“It’s….. it’s Sheena!” sweet talker she grumbled happily in her mind. Another silence followed. Sheena was waiting for him to compliment her name or anything, while the oblivious Aeries was busy mind scratching his head thinking of what to say again…… I hate talking to people, what a pain in the ass, always think of what to say, and filter the words in your mind lest you unconsciously anger them, I prefer being all by myself, in blissful solitude.

“CHI CHI” The sounds of oil dropping into the fire woke them up from their day dreaming’s

“And the food is ready! Ladies first, do you mind, I put some special herbs to soften the meat while increasing its taste” Aeries immediately grabbed this opportunity and flailed his arms about.

Seeing that the Kangaroo’s meat had already turned golden brown and heavenly smell was let out. The wonderful scent made one drool.

The Demon Kangaroo that weighed close to 200kg was split into numerous portions. At least more than 4/5 of the creature was stored in Aeries space ring, the other meat was then thrown into the fire and roasted with wild herbs and spices he had brought from home for the journey, and they were eating heartily.

Of the five large chunks of meat, apart from the ones that were still being barbecued, Aeries and Sheena had both taken one. Currently, they had grease all over their mouths.

While Aeries was eating like how he did back home, wild and unrestrained, Sheena was practically more lady like, She eat while looking at Aeries with worshipping eyes.

“Great meat! So delicious! Young master’s barbecue meat skills are great, this is the best barbecued meat I’ve ever tasted in my entire life…”

 Aeries could not help, but smile embarrassingly. This was the only thing he knew how to cook best since he had always hunted in his farmlands so of course he could be considered a pro. If it was normal cooking any other stuff, this young master could only make meaty broths and for the rest, use my secret skill, fill it up with sweet smelly spices!  

         Sheena after some time  completely forgot about her image and kept filling her mouth with bites of this heavenly meal, having oil and spice spread over her mouth, seeing as  Aeries   was eating without care she totally let loose like forgetting the so called ‘lady like’ act as she kept struggling with  Aeries   for the diminishing barbecued meat.

While in between mouthfuls, she told  Aeries of her story without holding back, she was actually from the Demi Human territory having traces of the King Panther Bloodline on her!

Since in the ancient days, Humans had finally found a break through in their research for easy cultivation techniques while at war with foreign forces and themselves, they had found out that humans and beast could intermingle and have offspring with the special characteristics of both, given them intense strength and easy breakthrough recorded with only humans of higher bloodlines.

        It turned out that if they injected their selves with the bloodline of high ranked demon beast, there would immediately have a great change and also have their own bloodline, like a carp leaping out of the river and crossing the dragon gate ( Chinese idiom. Meaning great turn around or something)

        And while in the heat of that era, some of them had gotten married to the higher ranked beast and produced the new trend of Demi humans of this Era, while it was considered a huge success, they had been some uncontrollable traits both physically and mental being passed on to their seemingly human offspring. The Demi humans had great bodily strength and intense power, even going ahead to make several breakthroughs while not even cultivating! It was a given for an offspring of a high ranked holy beast to reach the top of the great lord realm without even reaching out an inch to cultivate! Further growing leaps and bounds with their vicious bloodlines while just sitting around.    

However, once that intense and cruel era ended, humans started to fear these people. As such, they decided to form their own race among themselves, which was how the Demi came about.

Using the short sword in his to swiftly cut off a piece of barbecued meat, he started eating it while listening to her.

“So if you’re from the Demi human race, why would you come so far to the lowliest kingdom f the lowest human empire?” He asked surprisingly. It wasn’t a stretch when he said so, everyone knew the Blue Wing Empire after stabilizing itself from the previous usurping attempt on the throne by the large kingdoms under it was still in it’s recuperating period.    

“It’s my grandpa, he had……” after she finished he now had a clearer view of the situation, 'Damn! And I acted cool before all for nothing….. What I’ll skin all those people alive s**t, this was clearly a huge misunderstanding, yes a huge one’ even while saying that his body shrank further in embarrassment, later he would definitely ask for facts first
