Two Rank 4 Demon Beast!

    Occasionally, Aeries would release an arrow to deter Brooke from catching up, although he tried o make the arrows silent, the light sounds could not be hidden from Brooke! In this short period of time, they had completely transverse the outer region of the forest and moved further inside,

    Aeries arrows moved silently in a straight line towards Brooke. However, Brooke reacted calmly, with a sudden flick of his finger, a shining light suddenly burst forth and compressed the air to form a shield which looked rather soft, but when the arrow reached in front of Brook, it was bashed out with a loud CLANK sound. 

Aeries did not hesitate at all, after firing the arrows he would immediately start running again, constantly using the trees and bushes as paddles and covers. 

Brooke kept hot pursuit, Ignoring everything else, just the fact that his secret lover had died on his watch, he was angered to puking out blood. 

What Mission!! This was now personal, If he did not take revenge for the death of his secret lover, he would not be okay. How would he call himself a man in front of his wife. Further more after killing Aeries he would get paid a whooping 200 gold coins, as the token for both him and Tessa. Thinking about that made his killing intent to soar to the skies. This brat has to DIE!

    Just comparing speeds alone, Aeries was definitely slower, only managing to bring the distance to a draw with the use of his Misty Steps Technique. However, the problem was that his cultivation was just too low! a rank 4 body foundation comparing Speed with a Martial Warrior? Never been seen before. Coupled with the fact that he had been exhausted in the previous fight, A difference in distance could be seen, with Brooke getting nearer while he got slower. The only positive thing was that Aeries exhausted Qi energy was recovering little by little, When he was running, he also Practiced his breathing technique!

        Right at this moment, ahead of Aeries in a very close distance, a roar shook the skies as a warning to Aeries and Brooke. A huge gigantic ape slowly appeared in their vision. Brooke Cried out in Shock

"Butcher Ape Titan!" 

  Butcher Ape titan, was one of the most dangerous and blood thirsty of all rank 4 demon beast! It's individual strength was very high, and as a hobby, it enjoyed bashing the heads of the preys it caught on rocks.

"Meeting one now of all times, Brat your luck seem to be vey bad, Ha Ha Ha!" Brooke laughed complicatedly.

In fact this was a scene that Aeries staged !, Using his newly cultivated 'Eye of Seth ' he focused on the brightest heat signal he could see in the 100 meter radius and speedily ran towards it, of course he had his plan before doing so, He made a snappy decision and hurled Tessa's spear towards the eye of the demon beast. Although he knew it was a futile attempt, he did so to either enrage the beast or grab its attention.

    Brooke saw all of this but was still complacent, to him the Demon beast would be focused on Aeries who was in front, while he, would be excused from blooding his hands *Coughs coughs*, Before suddenly Aeries somewhat vanished from his and the beast view, leaving Brooke face to face with the angry beast. two voices sounded out almost simultaneously

"F*CK!!!"

"RAWL, GROWL"

     After the howl from the enraged beast, booming sounds could be heard as the beast suddenly started charging towards Brooke.

BOOM< BOOM< BOOM< BOOOM. No matter how fast he ran, one step of the beast seemed to bring it closer to him by one meter. 

"FU*CK DAMMIT!" Brooke couldn't help but curse out again in anger and despair. 'Why am I the only one you are chasing after, although you and I both Know that that Brat is hiding somewhere near, can't you leave me and go for the easy prey?' he shouted in his mind.

All of this was due to the spear Aeries had thrown earlier. He had understood that the demon beast seem to have noticed them from afar without really seeing them. He then summarized that it was either because of its high sensitivity to smell or high hearing capability. When he threw the spear, it was coated in Tessa's Perfume, Tessa's smell. Who else would have been that close to Tessa. to retain her smell and perfume in their body except someone who had laid with all night. The victimized Brooke'

Aeries didn't have it easy too, What disappear ! the only little trick at that moment was to bash him self against a large tree to abruptly halt his speed when Brooke was still horrified by the Butcher Titan Ape. Hiding behind that same tree, he watched tensely as Brooke tried to fend against the angry assault of the Demon Ape with his technique Air Blade, While he used the breathing technique to recover his spent Qi faster.

    He had wanted to creep away previously, before suddenly a gush of thought flooded his mind. 'Why not be the mantis stalking the Cicada!, besides he had already completed half of the mission, he just needed to go ahead and finish it. His body leapt off from the large tree and his legs shone as he activated the misty steps and swiftly followed behind them.

From Aeries hiding spot he could see a warrior Brooke getting wantonly beaten by a beast Demon Ape!. 

"Puff!" With a puff sound, Brooke let out a mouth full of blood and was blasted away in a ragged form. Blood spraying everywhere. 

     Before he could congratulate him self for his successful plot as a newbie, Brooke laughter brought him back to reality.

"Brat, You greedily followed our fight to see my demise, didn't you? too bad for you, you're not the only one who uses his brain right........ HA HA HA HA HA !" It was then that Aeries felt something amiss. Immediately he activated his SETH EYES to see the monstrosity Slitting it's way over. 

    Almost immediately a Peak Rank 4 beast burst forth from the forest, a very Venomous and Cunning demon beast known as Dark Python King !!. It's body blumed and flashed as it bumped heavily against the Demon Butcher Ape. 'How dare you invade my territory with your filthiness. Humph, you deserve a painful death for that. As for those weaklings, they will make a good supper from my kids when am done with you.' It seemed to say with the flick of it's tongue.

        Demon beast were very territorial, when something forcefully encroach their territory, word one Death, or you can succeed to defeat them. Although the Butcher Titan Ape wasn't a peak rank 4 demon beast, it was a rank 4 beast still!.

    "Quickly run!" was the only thought Scorch had when he saw this scenario. This battle was not one he should stay close to. He turned around only to see that Brooke had somehow gotten near him.

        "Now......... It's........ Only....... The......... Two..... Of........ Us........ HE HE HE HE !" Brooke unhurriedly said while licking his lips.
