What a f*****g day! Poor Paulette and Rolls! Sam and I absentmindedly walked behind Paulette's parents to the nursery. I could see that her parents were trying so hard to process everything that they learned today. I reached over and grabbed Anastasia from her grandpa and placed her in her crib. I then did the same with Xavier, but instead of laying him in his own crib, I placed him next to his sister. They both quickly fell asleep. I stood there, watching them as Sam stood next to me. She wrapped her arm around my waist. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. She let out a heavy sigh as she laid her head against my shoulder. "What is going on in that beautiful head of yours?" I asked as I kissed the top of her head.
