Zandra and I stood up. "Is everything alright, Gamma Chris?" Zandr asked, concerned.
He nodded. "While Beta Paulette and Beta Rollings are awaiting their twins, the alpha and Luna have gone into labor! I need to leave so that I can be there for my sister and best friend." He said as he headed towards the door. He turned back towards us. "Given the situation, I do believe that you will be welcomed into the pack if you so choose." With that he left.
I can not describe the relief that my wolf and I felt at that moment. We have always wanted to reside in a pack again. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sparks flowing up my arm. I looked down to see Zandra looking at me through her lashes. I cupped her face with my hand. "Are you okay?"
