I have seen many disturbing things in my life, but watching a slave branding was by far the most f****d up thing that I have ever witnessed! I know that I will hear her screams of pain for the rest of my life. I had to step away when it became too much. Her screams and the smell churned my stomach so badly that I ended up puking. When I heard that Zoey had survived, I was shocked, to say the least. I quickly scooped her up and led the way to the pack hospital. I put her on a bed once I was met by a nurse. Zoey was quickly taken to another room. From what I could gather, the prognosis was not good at all. The doctors said that if she survived the night, it would be a miracle. Even if she does somehow survive this ordeal, she will not be able to live a normal life.
