BETA ROLLINGS POV
My body was wracked with fear, no not fear but terror and pain in my abdomen! I could not breathe, and I looked down to see that I was unhurt. Real fear spread through me and Skull was raging to get out. He would not talk to me, he kept repeating the same word over and over and over again. He was calling for his mate! I vaguely remember Rae speaking to me but all I could do was brace against the pain. It felt like hours that I felt the pain before it finally subsided enough for me to speak. I took a deep inhale before I opened my eyes and locked onto Rae's gaze. "Paulette is in so much pain!"
Rae neared me. "I think that it is time we let you in on what we know, then we will ALL go get Paulette!"
