42 Culverhouse wasted no time in heading over to the council’s offices. He’d tried to phone ahead to Alan Carnegie’s contact, but he’d had no luck getting through. As he parked his car and went to get out, however, his phone rang. ‘DCI Culverhouse? It’s George Stretton here. I just got your message.
