Rosa’s POV I was running despite the wound in my knees. Not speed-walking. The actual effing run. I didn’t care that it attracted unnecessary attention from the workers at Valis. All I wanted to do was get to the boardroom at the fastest time possible and understand what was going on. My heart raced as I moved on and my heels pounded against the polished floors of Valis Corp as I rushed down the long hallway that led to the boardroom.
