Rosa’s POV I rushed out of the hospital ignoring the nurse calling after me to stay. I flagged down a cab with shaking hands and told him to take me to Sunshine Cafe…that was where I had been hit by a bicycle. As the cab moved through traffic, I clasped my hands together and prayed silently. I couldn’t lose that document. Not after I had taken them without telling Alex. The news of the pregnancy was the least of my problems right now. If those documents were missing, I didn’t know how I would face Alex.
