A man- poem

A man- August 21st, 2007

I want a man that won’t be ashamed to let everyone know I’m his girl.

I want a man to stand beside ne not in front of or behind me.

I want a man that treats me like I’m his equal. I want a man that gives as much as he takes.

I want a man that’s confident enough to be proud that his woman has a mind of her own.

I want a relationship that’s based on honesty.

I want a man that makes me laugh instead of making me cry.

I want a man that only has eyes for me.

I want a man to encourage who I am instead of trying to change me into who they think I should be. A man that doesn’t put everything or everyone ahead of me.

A man that enjoys spending time with me.

Someone that doesn’t feel the need to lie or play head games.

A man that knows what he wants.

A man that would never intentionally break my heart.

A man that won’t walk away when the going gets tough.

A man that isn’t afraid to tell me how he feels.

A man that I could trust with my heart.

Someone that will make time for me.

A man that appreciates everything I have to offer.

A man that will show me what true love really is.

I just want someone that’s good, honest, faithful, and loving. I want to find my soul mate.

The man that was put on this earth to find me.
