"Oie, Levi, Levi," a feminine voice called out so loud that it woke the sleeping male up. Levi opened his eyes, only to be greeted by those energetic hazel brown eyes that is the opposite as he was. "You're finally awake, thank God," Levi squinted his eyes and sat properly, releasing the girl who felt her legs numb from catching Levi's whole weight. "God knows how heavy your head is, look at me, I can't stand now because my legs are numb," the girl complained and touched her legs but only to feel nothing. "How long have I been sleeping?" Levi asked and the girl just smiled, "hm, let's say...you slept for 2 hours," the girl said as she showed two fingers to Levi who was busy tidying himself up but stopped when he heard the girl's voice. "Two hours?!" he immediately stood up and was about to run when he heard the girl shout, "Hey! Don't leave me!" the girl's shout was able to stop Levi in his tracks and so, out of guilt, he went back to where the girl was sitting, it was his fault for making the girl's feet numb after all and was about to help her stand when she slapped his hand that was reaching out to her. "What do you think you're-" "Carry me," the girl pouted and made Levi shocked to his core. "W-What?" those were the only words he was able to release after what the girl had said to him. "Carry me, it was your fault after all," the girl pouted and somehow, Levi was soft at that simple action and so he sighed and crouched down and carried the girl in his back, "be careful, my legs are still numb," the girl complained and Levi was honestly irritated by it. "Choose, be quiet or I'll drop you, right here, right now," "All right, I'll be quiet, you're such a grumpy human being. I wonder why you're so gentle to others but harsh to me?" the girl voiced out and Levi was keeping his mouth shut, concentrating his way in front, afraid that he'll trip. It was okay for him to trip if he was himself but this time, it's different. he's carrying someone. "Shut up and don't move or else you'll fall," Levi warned. "I take back my words, you also care for me, hehe," the girl said as she averted her gaze to the scenery above. 'It's just sad that this won't last forever,' one of them thought. --- "Lev, what happened to you?" Lath asked his best friend who was caressing his back ever since he got to meet with him. "Ugh," Levi groaned, making Lath think about other thoughts, thoughts that were not appropriate at all. "Did something-" Lath wasn't able to finish his sentence when Levi glared at him so bad that if glares could kill then he would be torn to pieces earlier. "No, stop with your naughty thoughts, it's inappropriate," Levi glared at Lath but it was enough for Lath to be quiet. "Alright...I swear Levi, I think you're just fooling me with your age...just tell me that you're older than me," Lath nudged Levi on his side, making the younger hiss in anger and pain. "Aish, stop it," Levi hissed in anger and Lath immediately stopped, scared at the younger. "okay okay, I'll stop now," Lath raised both of his hands to show Levi that he had given up on teasing him but his face still says the other thing. "But Lev, what really happened...you were not-" Lev cut him off, "it was Celeste!" he blurted out, making Lath shut his mouth but a smile came afterwards, not a genuine smile but a teasing one. This certain action made Levi irritated at the older's behaviour. "Behave your age," Levi scolded but it did not change the older's behaviour towards him instead he explained something to the younger, "just let me be alright? I can't be like this to my family because of the high expectations they have for me...and I considered you to be one of my closest friends that's why I'm like this to you, showing me jolly side...but since you want me to stop it then I will," Lath said and hung his head low, quiet sad of what Levi said to him. Levi felt guilty. closed his eyes and was about to apologize to Lath but he was speechless when Lath suddenly laughed, "HAHAHAHAHA but even if you say that, I'm still gonna hang beside you and continuously pester you until you get the hang of it," Lath said and it honestly touched Levi's heart. He had almost no friends because of his cold attitude but Lath's here, continuously sticking by his side and he honestly thought that he got the best friend he could ever wish for. Too flattered to say anything, Levi tries his best to hide his blushing face and just answered with his usual tone, "hmm," Lath who heard this was very satisfied because he knew that Levi is flattered by his words and so he slung his arm unto the younger's shoulders and talked, "let's eat now alright? I'm hungry for dinner," Lath said and Levi was about to decline but Lath noticed Levi's expression and so he decided to speak first, "don't worry...it will be my treat. My mom gave me enough pocket money to buy dinner for two people," Lath explained and Levi just hung his head low, embarrassed by the fact that he can't pay for the meal for himself and treat a person with it. Lath noticed the change in Levi's expression and so he tried to ease the atmosphere. "Eyy, don't be sad. I'll only treat you this once and if you get paid then it's your turn to buy me a meal okay?" Lath flashed his killer smile to Levi who also flashed him a genuine smile. "That's more like it!" Lath jumped out of pure happiness and then led Levi to his favourite restaurant and spent the rest of their free time there talking and laughing before they both went on their separate ways. On the other side, a girl was standing in front of the school gate, tightly clutching her bag as she waited patiently for a car to come and pick her up. A while passed and a black limousine made its way in front of her and it suddenly opened, revealing an empty seat that was solely for her. The girl sighed and made her way inside, only to be greeted by their driver who also happens to be one of the butlers in charge of their large mansion. "Good afternoon, young miss," the butler greeted and the girl smiled back in return, thankful to have a great steward hired in their house. "Just sit and wait miss, we'll arrive there in time," the butler assured the girl and the girl just nodded in return before turning her gaze outside the window where she saw numerous students on their way to probably have fun while others are on their way to cram school or probably to one of their part-time jobs. To be honest, that was one of the things that the girl wanted to try once in her life, to have fun and enjoy her youthful days but because of her disease, it made her impossible to do so. 'Another day to the hospital,' she sighed but still continued to watch outside with envy in her eyes.
