JUST STEPS INTO THE half-mile pathway ascending along the river stream flowing down from the mountains, Pari becomes mesmerized by the unique experience of the Moe’uhane ahupua’a and begins to understand the historical importance of a freshwater river stream to survival and culture on the island.
