Two Weeks Later
Miguel Rivera guides the home security expert on a very detailed tour of his home. He has chosen a couple of places he thinks will work to hide a large safe. But the security expert surprises him by showing most interest in exploring the house’s odd features and hearing that Irene Lazar apparently created them in a desire to steer evil spirits away from her home’s bedrooms and primary living areas, including the small staircase to nowhere and long corridor without an exit, both of which end at blank walls.
A hollow, narrow wall is found. It doesn’t appear to line the outside of the home or any of the other rooms. The expert begins tapping, then advances to other tools, before determining that this particular wall is unsupported by beams. He convinces Migu
