Pari Malik, still resting and relaxing in the park, finds her thoughts continue to float further away from the tunnel mystery. What was Agustin Diaz doing Tuesday night? Why was he there near the beach, yet hidden amongst the trees? Who was he meeting? One person? A group of people?
Why did he miss the Moe’uhane filming completely? Why did he choose not to respond to the calls and texts from Campbell, Kawaii, and Susan? Was he rendered incapable of responding?
She notices Katerina Rivera approaching in jogging shoes, sweaty and returning from a run, looking troubled and wearier than she has seen her before. “Will you come to lunch with me?” Katerina pleads.
