I rush out to the car and to the back seat pulling out Patience's backpack as I look down to see her phone in the seat ringing. It said dad and had a picture of him. That's when I recognize who he is. He's the biggest drug lord in America. He supplies my gang with a bunch of stuff and he's our only distributor.
I pick up the phone going to answer it.
"Hello" I say and I hear a larger intake of breath from Gabriel.
"I don't know who you are or what you want but give the phone to my daughter right now!" He yells making me pull the phone away from my ear as I smile.
"I didn't know you had a daughter Gabriel. Not to mention the fact that you were her dad" I laugh into the phone. On the other end of the phone I hear a vase hit something. I know he threw it.
"Give me my f*****g daughter back! I'll send Chris Grims after your ass if you don't give her back! Do you know who he is?! He will eat you alive!" He yells into the phone and I laugh again.
"You mean Chris Grims as in me?" I laugh and I instantly hear a breath of relief from Gabriel.
"Why in the hell is my daughter with you?" He asks curious.
"Well me and Jay are going back to high school because of the stupid ass gang the snakes and we found your innocence daughter. We have the same classes almost and we have free period till after lunch. So now we're here" I say walking back into the house as Patience was sitting on the couch with Jay watching tv.
"Don't say anything to her about anything inappropriate. She doesn't know what I do or anything. Honestly I don't even know if she knows that it exists" he says sighing.
"Of course I wasn't planning on saying anything anyway" I say catching the attention of Patience. She raises her eyebrows at me.
"Oh yeah here you go" I say into the phone handing it to Patience.
"Yeah dad" she says they talk on the phone for a couple minutes.
"How do you know Chris?" She asks her father and I raise an eyebrow thinking about how he can tell her how we know each other.
"Oh" she says. After a couple of seconds Patience hangs up.
"So your dad knew my dad?" She asks turning to me and I nod. My parents used to be really close with Patience but no one knew about Patience at all. I don't even think my mom knew and she was like sisters to Patience's mom. After my dad got bored with the gang he turned it over to me when I turned 17. He didn't really socialize much after that.
"Wow that's amazing" she says and then her eyes widen.
"Where's Liam?" She asks turning her head and looking all over the room.
"Oh um they had to go to his house" I say making up a quick lie. Patience believes me not thinking much of it.
"So who lives here?" Patience questions as she brings her legs up and sits crisscrossed.
"Me, my parents, my little brother, and Jay stays a lot" I mumble walking into the kitchen to get me and Jay a beer.
"You have a brother? How olds he? And where are your parents and him?" She asks facing the tv as it plays Supernatural.
"Well-" I'm stopped before I can start my sentence by Patience gasping.
"Why are you drinking those? Dad said those are for old old people" Patience says scrunching up her nose as I hand Jay his beer and sit on the couch right next to her.
"Well I'm old enough" I say shrugging.
"What's it taste like?" She asks staring at the can.
"You wouldn't like it" Jay says putting his feet up on the coffee table.
"Let me try" Patience says putting her hand out and Jay widens his eyes as I smirk.
"I don't think so princess" I say as she starts to pout.
"But-" she doesn't get to finish because the door opens and slams against the wall and Patience jumps into my lap. In walks my mother along with my brother and father. I wrap my arms around Patience's waist holding tight.
"Jay feet off my coffee table" my mom says as she glares at him making him quickly put his feet down and mumble a sorry.
"Who's that?" My brother Chase asks pointing at Patience blushing in my lap. He's looks almost exactly like me just smaller. He's soon to be 13. He took the day off cause he was "sick".
"Mom, dad this is Patience. She's Gabriel's daughter" I say smirking and my mom drops all of her stuff on the ground making Patience jump at the loud noise.
"Oh my! I didn't think he even had a daughter! Oh Constance is gonna get it!" Mom yells glaring at the ground. Patience sinks into me and I feel her slightly shaking.
"Gloria I think your scaring the poor girl" dad says and my moms eyes widen as she quickly comes over to us pulling Patience out of my arms quickly.
"I'm so sorry dear. It's so nice to finally meet you though" mom says hugging the life out of Patience and she hugs back as she starts to relax.
"It's okay. It's nice to meet you too" Patience mumbles but you can feel the smile from her words.
"Oh you are so beautiful- why is she wearing just your shirt?!" mom starts to say to Patience until she turns to me with a glare as she whisper yells.
"Oh- oh it was my fault I got blood on mine. I'm really sorry" Patience says looking down and my moms eyes widen.
"Don't worry about it hunny" mom smiles widely at her.
I pull Patience back into my lap pulling her close. My mom looks at Jay with a raised eyebrow and a huge smile as he just shrugs.
"How about you stay for dinner and ask your parents to come too" mom says and Patience nods her head pulling out her phone texting her parents.
"I'm going to go start dinner" mom smiles winking at me walking into the kitchen.
"So are you guys f-" Chase starts to say but Jay quickly covers his mouth quickly.
"What?" Patience questions looking at Chase and then Jay as I pull her closer glaring at Chase.
"Are you thirsty?" Chase asks nervously as Jay takes his hand off his mouth.
"I'm okay thank you" Patience smiles at him. Chase smiles fearfully back and rushes out of the room. Well then.
