I was hoping for a long shower, a nice dinner, and the comfort of my bed. But the devil had other plans for me. And that plan came in the form of a man in back, with grey eyes and a shiny gold stud glinting on his left brow. There couldn't be a more perfect villain. He leaned against the wall just beside the door, hands tucked into his pockets while he stared down at me like a predator being simply amused by its prey. My feet halted in front of the steps leading the the door. He was back already? I wasn't expecting to see him. Pushing himself off the wall, he climbed down the steps.
