Chapter 3. Saying Goodbye

"Ryder no!!" Samantha called out running to her dying girlfriend praying it wasn't too late to save her. Daniel was hot on Sam's heels running to his baby sister. "Ry no please!" Daniel cried out tears staining his face. They got to Ryder who was quickly fading. "Don't cry, I at least got to see the curse be lifted. Just no more dancing on gravestones k?" Ryder said with a small smile on her face and tears falling from her eyes. "Ry please don't do this, don't leave me." Daniel to his twin. "I'm sorry." Ryder replied. "Please no Ry please stay." Sam cried clenching her chest as if trying to squeeze off apart of her that was pumping pain through her body."I'm sorry Princess I love you, I love you Dani you are the best older brother." Ryder said before taking her last breath. "No!!" Daniel and Samantha both cried while they both cradled Ryder's body. Sam called the ambulance and reported Rdyer as being stabbed by a tree limb the official story was she slipped due to the uneven ground of the unkept graveyard. Daniel and Samantha had to go through a lot of questioning by the police, doctors, family and friends. They spoke about what all happened back the official story was what the "Professionals" believed and that was that the kids were kidnapped and tortured until they were killed one by one. Because of the truama they made up in their minds that there were witches and spirits after them. Part of the story was Ryder was killed while they were tyring to get away but, because Daniel was her twin brother he couldn't accept the fact he lost his twin sister and believed her to be alive. Up until reality hit him and he went through a second loss. Talk about a mouth full huh? Imagine how Daniel and Samantha felt going through all that, losing 3 people they were close to only to have their story changed.

Daniel and Samantha were labled unstable after everything was said and done. Samantha vsited a tharapist twice a week while Daniel visited once. "Come over sometime maybe?" Daniel sent a text to Sam hoping she'd respond. "Okay" Sam replied. "Maybe today?" Daniel messaged back "Sure what time?" Sam quickly replied. "Whenever I guess." Daniel said. "Okay see ya soon." Sam said and than she hopped in the shower to relax. An hour later Sam rushed down the stairs and walked to Daniel's house taking her time, enjoying the fresh air and seeing her hometown again, not stuck behind a fence in a light house. Same took in the flowers and the trees before running to the door. Knock knock Sam knocked loudly, Hey come watch the news with me Daniel said to Sam letting her in. "Okay?" she replied curiously. "Why are we wathing the news? Same asked. "Because the lighthouse is on fire and so is the unkept grave yard." Daniel replied. "Wait what?" Sam replied shocked as ever. They watched as the forest burned along with the cemetery, the light house aparently had a short in the wires and that's what caused it to burn down. After the news was done Sam and Daniel walked around town even getting a bite to eat. After 4 months and things slowly returning back to semi normal, Daniel and Samantha decided to date.
