Calvin’s POV
We come into Odate. Kate is happy, as a little girl. She wanted to see everything in one day but we convince her we can see something tomorrow as we stay for a night. I still can’t believe that she gave me a chance to prove myself. I can be with her and touch her. After our training last night, she slept most of our train journey. She had her head mostly on Yann’s shoulder, but she held my hand all the time. I am one lucky man.
After our all-day of visiting museums and other places designated for the Akita breed, I was already exhausted. Kate bought so many souvenirs that I am not sure where we will be put all of them during our journey back.
