With one sweep, Angelo took in her appearance. He scowled. 'Uum huh...... Hallo Angelo '

'When were you going to tell me?' He didn't wait for the answer but swept past hr,leaving her gaping . Well welcome inside,she muttered darkly. How had find out ,and about the baby.?Was it Josh? NO, Josh would never betray her like that and further more he knew nothing about the baby.

She quickly composed herself and moved to the living room ,to her impending doom. He seemed larger than life in her house,out of place.

He turned and God was he handsome. ' When were you going to tell me? ' repeating his earlier question and one she had no idea of what to answer .' What about Angelo?'

' Playing dumb now are we?Don't play games with me Angel, about the baby. ' What about it?

'Is it mine?

Angel staggered until she sat down. How could he think they'd ever been anyone else . She glared at him.

'No its not yours,now leave and never come back again.' Damn you Angel,i want the truth. Angel was near tears and if he didn't leave very soon,she would be reduced to s pile of crying mess in front of him with would be very embarrassing and mortifying.

'I said no,now leave '

He knelt and held her hands,tipped her chin up and said, ' You really should not have lied baby,your such a bad liar. Now tell me that again ,is the baby mine?

Angels bottom lip quivered and trembled ' Yes,how can you ask that when your the only man i have ever made love with and that i.........{i love you} Angel trailed of . Had she really come close to admitting her feelings to him.

' You what baby?'

' Nothing Angelo. How did you find me?'

" A little birdie told me,or was it an ostrich,I wonder '

" Angelo! Be serious '

" Oh but I am. I realized that I couldn't live without you anymore and when I called to ask for you,you had already gone. No one knew where you were ,so I investigated and I found about you and the baby and here I am .'

"Oh'

'Oh?,is that all you can say. Were you ever planning to ever tell me about the baby '

' Eventually ? ' She asked like it was a question.

' Eventually!!!!!!??? When like in one year,five,or never?'

Stop shouting at me,you are the one who left me and not the other way around.

'OK am sorry. But why could you have not told me. Am I that terrible a person that you would try to keep him away from me?'

Angel blushed with embarrassment

' Its not that. I discovered that I was pregnant three weeks after you had gone. It was such a surprise. I had just gotten a call from the university that I had been offered a scholarship to study in a foreign country. I had Ellie to take care of and now on top of that a new baby to wait for.'

'I don't know what to do and I don't want you to think that I had gotten pregnant intentionally to trap you in a loveless marriage '

Angelo ' You could have told me anyway. Don't worry baby,I know you were scared,come here,I'll make it all better,I promise.

He held her close to him and felt his body relax at he proximity.

He let his warm hug say all,that he had missed her so much and that he loved her and that he wished he'd been there for her. Cramps,backaches,cravings and all.

Just then Ellie come in a rand towards the waiting arms of Angelo.

' Angelo!your back. Are you back for good?Angie has been grumpy all the time .'

Throwing her hand in the air in a show of frustration.

Angelo ' Is that so?

Ellie nodded, ' She also eats the weirdest things. Like last night,she ate pickles with butter. What's up with that?Weird I tell you. Good thing you come for me and not her. I can't survive here .'

'Don't worry Ellie am here now and am not going anywhere for a very long time .'

He turned to look at Angel who had been quiet. He was meet by the sight of her crunching her stomach and a look of deep concentration on her face.

He put Ellie down and knelt in front of her.

'What's wrong baby?' He asked worriedly

'I...I think the baby is coming. Am in labor .'

' Labor?'

Angel couldn't answer as another wave of contraction racked through her.

'No you i***t am just doing sit-ups. Really '

'OK OK what got your panties in a twitch?'

' How about your baby?'

'Oh,yeah that '

' i***t I wonder what I saw in him.?' Get me to the hospital dammit!'

He scooped her and hurried towards the door.

Angel 'Ellie,could you get me the bag by the bed.?'

Ellie want to get it.

' Ellie,get the door of the car .'

Angelo put her in the back set of the car thankful he had not thought to come with the sports car with no back seat but with a BMW,which thankfully had.

Ellie jumped in the front seat and Angel speed up towards the hospital.

He packed in front of the emergency ward not caring for the sign that read 'No packing here. Not he would have given s**t if it read ' explosives here'

'I need some help '

She was quickly attended to and was soon in the surgery room.

Angelo hurried after her not wanting to get her out of his sight more than was necessary.

'Sir,you can't go in there like that. Are you the baby's father.?'

'Of cos,,,,I mean yes nurse'

'OK then,Eddie?' ' Yes nurse?'

' Take this gentleman to scrubbing room and give him a gown and then bring him back here'

He was soon ready and in the room before ten minutes were up and was holding Angels hand.

She turned her pain and tear filled eyes at him .' I thought you'd left me all alone'

'I'll never leave you alone baby,ever '

Pain built up inside her and the urge to push was coming strongly.

'The contractions are about 22.seconds apart. She's ready doctor'

' Miss Antonio, I need you to help me by pushing as hard as you can. When I say push,you push OK?'

Angel nodded.

' Okay,deep breath,help her Mr.'

Angelo 'breath for me baby,your doing great baby,your so beautiful and strong and you are giving me the best gift in the whole world and I just need you to help him get here so we can meet him. OK'

Angel nodded while Angelo kissed her sweaty blow.

Doctor ' Okay 1 2 3 push'

Angel pushed with all her might'

'OK that's good just another one. Push'

Angel crunched Angelo's hand hard and pushed. 'Just a little more miss Antonio,I can see his head.

She shook her head from side to side.' I..... I can't do it'

Angelo ' You can do it baby. I know you can. I love you so much. One more baby,'

'One more?'

' Just one more,OK?'

'OK.'

She gathered her last strength and gave it her all.

She heard a cry.

Congratulations Ms Antonio,you have a beautiful baby boy. I need the father to cut the cord .'

Angelo's face was priceless,he looked like he had won the lottery as he held the baby.

Angelo 'My son,am your daddy' In which the baby wrinkled his face like he don't seem to like the idea but Angelo all but laughed.

'Hi baby,would you like to hold him? '

Angel held her arms out .

'He looks just like you and me. He has your blue eyes and my hair. Thank you. He's perfect.'

The nurse come to take him away and get him checked as well as cleaned.

'Will I see him soon?' Not wanting to part with their son

'Yes miss Antonio, after he is cleaned and you have rested.'

'Rest baby,I'll be right here with you.'

'OK '

She don't have long before she fell asleep. A long and deep awaited sleep.
