Lana's POV.
The nurse's body crashed against my legs. I screamed so loud.
She hit the floor hard, gasping for breath while blood spread beneath her trembling body. Her fingers wrapped desperately around my ankle.
"H---help them..." she cried weakly.
My entire body turned cold.
"Asher!" I shouted.
Asher rushed forward immediately grabbing the nurse by her shoulders.
"What happened?'" he growled.
The nurse coughed violently. Blood spilled from her mouth.
"T--the children.."
The moment she said those words, my heart stopped beating. That confirmed the cry I had heard earlier, before the nurse arrived. I pushed past Asher and ran.
