9. Heartbroken !!

Jeni and Rubi done shopping for the day and started getting ready for the pub. Ruby wore sexy shorts and off shoulder top. Jeni wore a mid thigh length red shining sleevless dress. Her dress wasn't that revealing as Ruby, but she looks damn good in red. She wear her favourite pendant chain, other than that there weren't much jewelry. She kept her hair loose and open, and done her makeup with bold lips with smokey eyes. She looked a total badass.
Rubi didn't mention this to Ethan, as she wants to make it upto Jeni for abandoning her yesterday. As both of them were at the entrance, then only they knew it was for couple entry. But fortunately they found two hot guys who was willing to help, one of them were the chef Rubi met yesterday and his friend.
They headed to the dance floor. mood was going up, since Rubi needs drinks, she went with the chef who also needed one. Jeni never ever used alcohol in her whole life. So she just stayed with the friend, whose name was Paul, he also works in the cruise. So they chit chat a bit. Paul was a nice and simple guy, jeni felt relaxed after talking with him. Suddenly, she saw a familiar figure dancing in the corner with some girl. After going more close to that shadow she found that it was Alex, and the girl was none other than Merlin. Merlin noticed Jeni's presence, so with an evil smile she pull Alex to hers and kissed passionately.
With that Jeni left the scene.
Alex don't know Jeni was behind, he casually date girls so it was normal for him to kiss back.But something didn't felt right for him. After Jeni's 'question' he couldn't concentrate on anything clearly... So he just told her to stop. And excused himself for washroom.
After watching that scene Jeni was heartbroken. Its not because he doesn't have feelings for her, but he didn't call her once after that night scene, he is her best friend after all. And here he was partying with that b****.
She went to Rubi. She just need to forget that scene right now, so she demanded a drink. Rubi was shocked by this. So she asked what's wrong with her.
But she took two shots of vodka.
In a low tone said, "everything is fine,, i just wanna loosen up a bit. May be i keep all it precious and pure that, i get hurt in small things."
Rubi clearly don't understand what she said, but by the look she knows her friend is disturbed somehow. Before she can ask more, she was welcomed with a warm hug from Ethan,
"woah what a surprise!! You just scared me Ethan."
"Ofcourse you were ignoring my calls and msgs and when we suddenly meet here, you must be surprised." he said in a taunting tone
"by the way you look so hot tonight...", with that Rubi started blushing, even though she tries to hide it. It was clearly visible.
Jeni thought it was her cue to leave as she don't want to spoil their moment.
"Hey Ethan, good to see you. sorry I'm not feeling well, small headache. so I'm heading back to room. Don't worry Ruby, i ll take the cab... Enjoy your night "
Before Ruby can say anything, she left. She knows Jeni can reach the place safely. So Ruby concentrated on Ethan. And they started dancing.
All of them doesn't notice the shadow following her in the darkness...
