In early June, the Coweta County Fairgrounds hosted the Tornado Relief Concert. The charity event drew thousands on a beautiful evening. Georgia Country performed a long set, highlighting musical hits by local legend Alan Jackson. After opening with “Chattahoochee,” they were greeted with warm applause. “Everybody having fun?” lead singer Dale Howser yelled into his microphone. “Thank y’all for coming out tonight. We take care of our own down this way. My thanks to all the other musicians for being a part of this.” Howser slung his guitar around and looked appreciatively at the musicians on stage before turning back around and reading off a teleprompter situated in front of him. “In the first two days after the storm, approximately twelve hundred volunteers helped out, and we think we’
