Five days later, play-by-play man Ken Allen and color analyst Freddy Feld worked the television broadcast booth as the Braves hosted the Mets to end the home stand. Allen: “Tonight, the fans get to see the first major-league start for heralded rookie Tommy Browning, Freddy.” Feld: “Yes, we’re all excited to see what the Browning Rifle can do, Ken. His rise has been nothing short of phenomenal.” Allen: “What does Browning have to do to beat the Mets, Freddy?” Feld: “Stay in his zone and not get rattled. We haven’t seen him struggle yet, so we don’t know how he’ll react.
