Why me?

Valerie POV Continuation – Right after the rejection “No…” Tears streamed down my cheeks as laughter erupted all around me. Everyone in the hall stared with satisfied smirks on their faces, like they had been waiting for this exact moment. “Not again,” I whispered, shaking my head. I couldn’t process what had just happened. My chest felt tight, like someone had punched me. “Please… tell me it’s not true,” I begged, reaching out and grabbing David’s wrist. “Get off me, you disgusting thing!” David shouted. He shoved me hard. I stumbled backward and fell onto the hard floor. Pain shot through my palms as they scraped against the tiles. I swallowed the cry that rose in my throat and kept my head down, unable to look at him. Everything I had hoped for — my one chance at belonging — had just been ripped away in front of the entire pack. David turned away without another word and walked back to his friends. They clapped him on the back and laughed like nothing had happened. The whole hall was watching me now. Whispers spread quickly, followed by more laughter. I saw Sera standing a few feet away, her arms crossed, a smug glare on her face. I pushed myself up slowly, my hands stinging. My legs felt weak. The birthmark on my face burned under everyone’s stares. I brushed my long black hair over it, trying to hide, but it didn’t matter. They had all seen it. I took a shaky breath, turned toward the exit, and pushed through the crowd. Voices rose behind me — more insults, more laughter — but I didn’t stop. As soon as I stepped outside the hall, the noise faded into the background. The cool night air hit my wet face. Where was I supposed to go now? Home? Back to more yelling and chores? I started running. My feet carried me straight into the woods behind the ceremony building. Branches whipped against my arms and legs as I ran deeper. The darkness swallowed everything. My heart pounded in my ears. Somewhere above me, birds screeched, making the woods feel even more dangerous. My wolf stirred inside me, instincts kicking in. I sensed movement nearby and spun around fast. A strong hand clamped over my mouth before I could scream. Another arm pinned my body against a thick tree trunk. My back hit the rough bark hard. “Please… don’t hurt me,” I tried to say, but the words came out muffled against his palm. My body trembled. I could barely see his face in the darkness…just a tall, broad shadow. “Shhh,” he whispered, his hot breath brushing my ear. The low sound sent an unexpected shiver through my stomach. He turned me around so my chest pressed against his. He smelled like cigarettes and something darker, masculine. I coughed once, trying to catch my breath. “Who are you?” I managed to ask when he loosened his grip slightly. I stepped back, but my foot caught on a root and I almost lost my balance. He didn’t answer right away. Instead, he gave a slow, dangerous smile. Even in the dark, I could feel the intensity of his stare. “Why are you out here alone at this hour?” His voice was deep and sharp, cutting through the quiet forest. “I… I don’t know,” I stammered. My hands were shaking. Sweat mixed with the tears still on my face. “I just… needed to get away.” He took a step closer. I backed up until my spine hit the tree again. The rough bark dug into my skin through my thin dress. “You like it rough, huh?” he said quietly. Before I could respond, his hands gripped my waist. His palms were large and surprisingly warm against the cool night air. He pulled me flush against his chest. Part of me wanted to push him away and run. Another part — the part that had been rejected and humiliated tonight — wanted to stay right there. His hand moved up to my neck, holding it gently but firmly. His thumb brushed my skin, sending heat through my body. “Let me have a taste,” he murmured. Something inside me responded before my brain could catch up. My body leaned forward on its own. “Yes… please. I need you,” I whispered, my voice shaky. He nodded once, then lowered his head and pressed slow kisses along the side of my neck. His lips were warm and slightly rough. A shiver ran down my spine with every touch. He pulled back just enough to look into my eyes. Then he bit his lower lip and slid one hand inside the front of my gown, cupping my breast. My n****e hardened instantly under his fingers… He noticed and rolled it between his thumb and forefinger, making me gasp. “Call me Daddy,” he ordered, his eyes locked on mine. I opened my mouth, but before the word could come out, he pinched my n****e lightly. Pleasure shot through me and my knees went weak. “Say it,” he repeated, softer this time but still commanding. “Daddy…” The word slipped out as he lowered his head and took my n****e into his mouth, sucking gently while his teeth grazed it. “You like that?” he asked, his voice vibrating against my skin. I nodded quickly, unable to speak. My hands gripped his shoulders for support. He made a low sound of approval and pulled me even closer. One hand stayed at my breast, the other slid down my waist and under my dress. His fingers traced over my panties, then pushed them aside. “You’re already wet for me,” he said, his breath hot against my ear. His fingers slid between my folds and circled my c**t slowly at first, then faster. I moaned, my hips moving against his hand without thinking. “Please…” I gasped, barely able to form words. He didn’t stop. Instead, he hooked one of my legs over his shoulder, shifting my panties further to the side. Then he dropped to his knees and pressed a hot, open-mouthed kiss right on my c**t. “You’re mine now,” he growled against me.
