Just as Jake had expected, the data reader’s digital signature was a perfect match! A stream of blue light filtered out through the curved slit of the digital reader. The people gathered at the table watched in amazement as moving holographic images were soon projected on the table.
“This is just like magic!” exclaimed Cynthia. She had often seen such images being conjured up during prophesies and rituals.
Jake fixed his eyes on the holograms and replied, “This is science. It’s a technological innovation from our world.”
Every soul in the room was amazed by the beautiful blue light which flickered and formed strands of broken images at first. It took a while for the entire holographic construction to be complete. The first sound they heard from the device was a rusty metallic voice.
