A thousand brave souls marched into battle formations to the tune of trumpets. The King’s banners waved in the unsteady wind as the army prepared to assault the walls. King Johannus led from the front, followed by Florio and his infantry unit, while Duke Perlemon ordered his men to assemble the trebuchets.  On the eastern horizon, another battle had already begun. Riding on a chariot of flames, the ruler of the skies impaled his eternal foe on his burning lance. The dark knight dropped his cloudy shield and slowly bled into twilight hues.
