Surrounded by the thick cloud of mist on all sides, Emily became disoriented. Though Edmund was screaming out her name from afar, she couldn’t tell where his voice was coming from. It was impossible to see anything except those large yellow eyes which peeped at her from the watery depths. Suddenly, she felt something cold and slimy grab her from behind. A great gooey tentacle wrapped itself around her waist. She screamed and struck it repeatedly with her clenched fist, until it let go off her. It slithered down from her body and retreated for the moment. “Edmund, I can’t see anything!
