9 Kiera woke, with a startled gasp, in a strange bed. “Conor!” His name escaped her lips in a panicked whisper as she felt the heaviness of his long arm across her waist, weighing her down. How had she gotten here? And why was he sleeping in her bed? Frantically she cast back, trying to remember.
