Annabelle's POV Detective Walsh is exactly what I expected from the blurry photo Sofia showed me. Middle aged, expensive suit, the kind of face that's learned how to look friendly while delivering threats. He's holding a leather briefcase and wearing a smile that doesn't reach his eyes. "Miss Callahan, thank you for opening the door." He glances at Sofia standing behind me. "Perhaps we could speak privately?" "Anything you need to say to me, you can say in front of my friend."
