Chapter Eight Talon Talon stared at the summons from his father. It had been over a week since he’d seen him, let alone heard from him. He looked at the boy who’d cornered him in one of the corridors. “What does he want?” The boy shrugged. Talon stared at the kid, wondering if he’d overheard anything or really didn’t know. “Tell him I’ll be there later.” He handed the piece of paper back to the boy. “Sir, he said it was urgent.
