Sophie’s expectant eyes were still on Mary’s fingers that were linked with Theo’s. this time even Vanessa waited for an answer.
Mary blinked caught off guard for a moment. She hesitated, the fingers of her free hand fidgeted slightly as she spoke, “Well, we haven’t found the right ones yet.” Flashing a sweet smile at Theo she said, “We wanted something special to represent our beautiful bond.” Her voice was soft and breathy.
Totally agreeing with her words, Theo gave a slight nod. He couldn’t help but admire her quick thinking and the way she protected herself. He squeezed her hand in a silent acknowledgment of her strength. He had an answer ready for them but he liked Mary’s response
