Mary held Theo’s arm, cutting him off. “Wait, first tell me is it either we should be stressed kind of problem or we are going to be dead kind of problem?”
Exhaling slowly, Theo ran a hand through his hair. His expression was serious as he held her by the shoulders, “It could be both… I don’t know for sure!”
Theo’s POV :-
Taken aback by my answer, Mary waited for me to explain. As I told her everything that I had heard from Rao, her eyes lowered to the floor. She was appalled at first but later on she had gotten quiet. No shock or signs of panic could be seen on her face.
Maybe she was in deep thought or Was she disappointed? I couldn’t guess from her face or eyes, she just leaned onto the kitchen counter and stared at the ground with her hands folded
