The warmth of the calm waves embraced the beach, sharing its warmth and calm before retreating back to bring more of the sun’s evening rays from the horizon, red and orange.
Mary stood right where the waves ended on the sand, dressed in a white dress, her long open locks danced wildly with the wind while she inhaled the salty moisture, rejoicing in the beauty of it.
“I missed this …” She said , rubbing her arms.
A pair of strong , tan hands encircled her from behind and she let her weight fall on Theo , relaxing in his arms .
“We were only six months in Florida but felt like six years .” he whispered planting a kiss on her head , right behind her ear.
“it is all behind us , now … This is our home .”
Holding his wrists , she turned to kiss his lips .
