I was sorting out the log books, and doing the monthly calculations since the end of the month was close. I didn’t have to make an excuse to sort out the funds to take my share before leaving. I would need some quick Mauritian cash.
It was no longer safe to stay in Mauritius after knowing that someone was looking for us. They had made it this far it wouldn’t take long for someone to come knocking at our door.
Rao hadn’t said anything about some strange man asking about me nor had he asked any personal questions, so most likely they haven’t found me… Yet. And hopefully, they never would because today would be the last for me here, in this market. For the next three days, the market was going to be closed due to the weekend and then a public holiday.
