Holding a pen drive in her hand, Mary sat straight. The questions of ‘what was inside it’ swirled her mind.
The laptop sat in his lap when Theo inserted the pen drive, he stated with his eyes too focused on the screen, “It was with the picture and the file in an envelope, I don’t know what’s inside. I was... ”because he didn’t trust her’ every few minutes ‘he didn’t tell her about the pen drive’ either directly or indirectly.
“The file has newspaper cutouts of interviews and an article on some research…” Mary said putting away the file and joining Theo as they hit 'play'.
