He glared at her and wrapped a large hand around her neck, walking her to the edge of the roof. She clawed desperately at the hand cutting off her air and circulation, also focusing on not falling backwards off the roof. Vera ran over to the man with the hood over his face, pleading with him. "Just let her go! It's me you want! I know Sean put you up to this!" She looked around frantically, figuring out a way to fight back. Alana was nearly hanging off the edge of the roof, and one wrong move would send both him and her friend over the edge. She could tell that Alana's eyes were rolling back and that she would be unconscious in a few seconds if the pressure on her neck wasn't released.
