" Oh grieving heart, you will mend, do not despair This frenzied mind will return to calm, do not grieve". The LoSt Joseph~Hafeez Sarah was astonished to see James's other side of the personality. His soft and calm demeanor was so appealing to Sarah. He looked so easy to get along with, like a baby who loves his mother so much, and of course, Grandma is James's mother. After the tragic death of his parents, Grandma brought him upraised him like her son technically she's his mother. Grandma told Sarah about James's parents' demise. She was on the verge of crying so Sarah decided not to ask much about that incident. Sarah knew that Grandma was so important to James and at this age, she won't be able to survive if she ever comes to know about the agreement between Sarah and James. She determined in her heart not to let Grandma know about their marriage no matter what happens to her. Throughout the dinner, James held Sarah's hand and looked at her with loving eyes. This thing melted her heart. Throughout the Dinner, Sarah behaved so well in front of Grandma. James seemed to be so impressed by her performance. At midnight They returned to their home. They both hadn't spoken to each other since they got in the car. Nobody tried to break the silence. Martha greeted them when they reached home. Hello, Sir. Martha greeted James. How are you, Martha? I'm good, Sir thank you. James slightly nodded his head in response and walked upstairs to his room. Hello, Mam. Martha greeted Sarah lovingly. Hello, Martha. Why are you not resting, Martha? It's past midnight. Sarah asked with genuine concern. I was waiting for you to come back so that I can lock all the doors only then I can sleep in peace. Martha replied. You are so responsible and kind, Martha. Sarah praised her. So thank you, Mam. I'm going to my room after you lock the doors, go to your room and get some sleep. Sarah instructed. Okay, Mam. Good night. Goodnight. Sarah walked upstairs. Sarah placed her phone on the bed and went to the closet. Sarah took a shower. It was her nightly ritual. She dried her body with a towel and wore a short silk nighty. Initially, she wanted to sleep unclothed but now she changed her mind and wear a short nightdress. She had read somewhere that sleeping naked makes the sleep quality better and makes you feel less tired. She decided to give a call to her mother, it's been two days since her marriage and she is missing her parents so badly. She dialed her mother's number. Hi, mom. Hello, my dear daughter, how are you. I understand you just got married but it's not fair to forget your parents like this. Mrs.Parker teased Sarah. No, Mom how can I even think of forgetting my parents. I miss you so much. Her voice broke. Hey, honey don't cry my love, mommy was only teasing you. I didn't mean to hurt you. Mrs.Parker knew that Sarah would be missing them, being an only child she was so attached to her parents. Sarah composed herself. I know Mommy you were just kidding. I'm just missing you guys so much and I can't help it. How is Dad doing? He's doing good and missing you so much. I know, Mom. Sarah tried to sound happy. I will pay a visit to you this weekend, we have just returned from Grandma's home and I am so damn exhausted. I'll join the office from tomorrow morning. I've had enough vacations and I think I should go to the office tomorrow. But about the honeymoon, Darling? Mrs.Parker was surprised. Actually, Mommy James is so busy with his office, and I also have to work so we decided to postpone the honeymoon for some time but we sure will reschedule it when James and I have time. Okay, I understand but you should both spend some time together, you have just got married. Mrs. Parker was concerned and wanted to ask further but she decided otherwise. You are right, mommy. If it was not for work we'd have been flying to Spain. Did I mention that we were planning to go to Spain for our honeymoon? Sarah sensed concern in her mother's tone and to eliminate her concern she lied to her about the Honeymoon. It's a fantastic idea. Spain is a beautiful country. Mrs.Parker chimed. Okay, Mom, I'll talk to you tomorrow, bye take care. Say Hi to Dad. Bye, dear love you. Sarah hung up the phone. Sarah's mind was in chaos. The guilt of lying to her Mommy and to Grandma was eating her inside. She regretted her decision of getting married without even thinking of the consequences. What if her parent's come to know about her contract marriage or Grandma, in her age and health condition it would be devastating for her to know about this contract marriage. To Sarah, it was a marriage of revenge. Revenge on Harry, to show him that is something that she is not worthless, anyone can marry her. She won't die if he dumps her, but now she's regretting all this drama. Everything would be different if she had married Harry, her love of life, her sunshine. Her eyes go wet every time she remembers him. She never imagined her life without Harry, she doesn't know how much she loved him. James's demeanor towards her was so indifferent, he spoke to her since that kissing incident. He was acting as I forced him to kiss me. Bloody hell. She mentally cursed him. Next time if he tried to kiss me, I will slap him tightly in the face. Sarah plotted the scenario in her mind. He thinks his indifferent behavior affects me then he's just dreaming. I don't give a f**k about him. He doesn't speak to me, fine I won't speak to him either. If I see him in front of me right now I swear to God, I f*****g kill him. She was so mad at him. Someone knocked on the door. It must be Martha. Come in. She yelled out but no one came inside, so she walked to the door and opened the door. Yes, Martha?? James was standing at the door, a devilish smirk on his face.
