The waves of the island, on a normal day, would be a palliative for a stressed mind, and a perfectly relaxing time for the one enjoying. However, Heiming could not feel any of that. For a good twenty minutes, he yelled and screamed at the Seer, hurling as many insults as he could at him. A wave of the Seer's finger saw a magical ribbon materialize on Heiming's neck. "Heiming, you are an ungrateful being. If not for the fact that it was what you wished for, I would have taken it away a long time ago. However, higher authorities would then make me face a lot of consequences. " " That's too bad! This thing, this... abomination in my eye socket is not an eye! That's... That's... " Heiming burst into tears. The Seer sighed. He was having a hard enough time convincing Heiming to accept the eye, and thought extensively on the pre-order to not use mind control. Looking down, he could feel little emotions springing in favour of the weeping man in front of him. Until he had an idea... "Heiming, I want you to picture your friend, John, in your mind's eye." Heiming looked up. What could this beast possibly know? "Heiming, I could give you your real eye, or, I can give you something to help find those that have no intention of aiding you. In short, you can tell what anyone is doing at any place in the multiverse. Time is parallel, and runs the same throughout the multiverse, no matter how twisted the universe may be. However, you can only see events in the present, and... " As he talked, Heiming was confused. Then he remembered the point he saw the doctors running towards him. He felt stuffy. He sat down with a heavy thud. The Seer floated towards him. "You can also see the thoughts in human mind, but you cannot access memories, as they belong to the past. In short, your vision is greater than average by infinity. " " I can see whomever I wish to, and all I have to do is think of them? " " Not entirely. The power was not granted to you at full capability, so you can only see people you've seen. However, if such a person is in the midst of people you haven't seen, you will be able to see them all at once. Think of it as a multiversal CCTV. Now, do I remove them, or do you keep them? " Heiming so wanted to be able to see, even though it would mean his eyes would look devilish. He whispered, "So be it." He blacked out again, and woke up in the hospital. Immediately, he sensed that someone was there. He kept his eyes closed. "Hello... Urgh. Anyone... There..." The comforting sound of John filtered through his ears. " Am here, am here. " He lay back. He could see the room, even with his eyes closed, and the thing was, he could see everything at one time. The ant crawling by the window, the small pile of dust by the furniture, the drink in John's hand. He wanted to tell John so bad, but the fear of losing his best friend made him not to. He looked around again. He couldn't see as well as he wanted to while his eyes were closed. He could only see his current environment, the room, as though he was watching from the vast space. He sighed and began listening to John. Life was about to get rough, and he knew it.
