Lunch break was supposed to be a time to relax, eat something, or maybe even laugh a little with Brenda and Suzan after all these days of being off before going back to the stress of work. But that was not what happened. Instead, I found myself staring at Brenda’s phone, my stomach twisting into a knot so tight I felt like I couldn’t breathe. “Look at this,” Brenda said, pushing the phone closer to me, her voice low, like she wasn’t sure how I was going to react. I looked down at the screen, and the moment I saw the post, my whole body went cold.
