By the time afternoon rolled around, I was halfway through a long and boring meeting with a few other colleagues. The room felt too cold as if someone had cranked the air conditioner to the highest setting on purpose, and no matter how much I tried to focus on the discussion, I was lost in thought. The voices around me blended together, about reports, numbers, and deadlines, but none of it was enough to pull me away from my thoughts completely.
