Cold Blooded Love

Chapter 3

Crow's P.O.V.

I walked out of the store not looking back at her, it was very fun playing with her, she was definitely interesting. I looked to the side to see my human associates arrived. I walked towards them giving a smirk in their direction. Alexia spoke up returning the smirk.

"Funny seeing you here, you looking for your costume this early?"

"Nah, just came here to check it out...actually blushing girl is here too." She laughed.

"This is just great! I have the perfect plan just for her. Sam!" Sam stepped forward smiling down at Alexia. I raised a brow. 

"Ohh?" I said curiously. 

"You see Snow has had a crush on Sam for quite some time now and yesterday confirmed it." 

"Ah, I see.." So that was her name. Humans were definitely odd creatures, as much as I want to stay and see this human drama unfold, I had places to be. "Unfortunately, I have to be somewhere, I have to go" Alexia frowned, everyone looked at me curiously. Ah humans alway sticking their nose where it shouldn't be, tho they were for sure interesting...like Snow. Nora then stepped forward.

"You have to leave already?" She looked at me sadly. I nodded. "Well...maybe tomorrow you...want to hang out...with us again?" She was now looking at the ground blushing extremely. Ah, she had a crush on me, as long as I been alive most humans and vampires did, but I had no interest in her or anyone for that matter. I smiled at her.

"Of course" I turned to the others, "Tell me how it goes, see you tomorrow." I then left as they said goodbye. I definitely wanted to know how it goes, that Snow girl was definitely going to intrigue me, this will be very entertaining. I went back to my home, going to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a few bags filled with blood and went in my car and left.

Driving, I looked around at the human walking around the street. Angry flashed my eyes for a minute but I shook it off, I did not want to remember those shitty memories of that horrible day. I pulled up to a building that looked like it wasn't ever used. Suddenly a man appears walking towards me. 

"Ah, Crow, just on time. I was expecting you my boy. Come on in, good to see you, Old lad!" I laugh getting out of the car heading inside the building with him.

"Please John, I'm not that old...well damn haha maybe I am." He smiled.

"You know, they missed your presence."

"Have they now?" He nods. He points to a room. 

"They are in there, go on my boy, go." I walked inside, I then fell to the ground, being tackled by tiny bodies.

"Uncle Crow! Your here!" I laughed. This building was my favorite place to visit. It was a orphanage for vampires and occasionally humans who got attacked by other humans.

"Hey there bud, how you been?" The little boy in front smiled down on me. He had scars all over his body. I remembered John told me the kid lost his family by humans. Poor kid suffered but alway has a smile. They all started giggling and jumping up and down in excitement.

"We missed you, did you miss us?" I nod. I then got off the ground and showed them the bag with blood. They ran towards with with a grin on they faces. "Thank you!, Thank you!, Thank you!" They grabbed the blood bags and sat to drink. One of the girls walked towards me, she was not a vampire, she was human. Mostly because our hearts don't beat, her's did, tho vampires were never human to begin with. We were all born vampires, not turned. She walked up to me, she had scars as well.

"Hey mister? Do you hate humans?" She asked randomly.

"Well your an odd one, little one. Why do you ask?"

"Before-re my parents...were killed..the killers...I heard them talk about...vampires hating us humans...mister do you hate us?" She looked at the ground, scared to look at me. I sighed.

"You don't have to worry about me hurting you, little one. I have no use in killing an innocent child but you may be right. I do hate them."

"Why? I know humans have hurt vampire but are all of us bad?" She look up at me with big sad eyes. I turned patting her head. I adored children, even human ones. I smiled.

"Maybe not.." I looked closer at her scars. Those filthy humans were trying to kill a child. A child who suffered for her parents decisions, a decision of befriending vampires. I then Spend an hour with the kids, it was nice to see smiles on their faces. I waved goodbye after that and left. I went back to my home, getting some blood for myself. I thought back on today. Snow has caught my interest, I was going to play with her some more. I then called Alexia.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I need a favor."

"Sure. What's up?"

"You known Snow for a long time. Where does she live?"

"What?! Why the hell do you want to know where she lives?"

"Don't worry, I'm just going to...pay her a little visit haha."

"Ah got it!" She gave me the address. Huh, she doesn't live that far from me.

"By the way, how did it go today?" She then explain how she reaction after seeing her and Sam kiss. My my how interesting. We then said goodbye and hung up heading out the door to Snows house. Thinking on the way, it was best to do some digging on Alexia after as well. Something was fishy about her presence since day 1. 

Alexia's P.O.V.

After Crow left. Sam came towards me, hugging me from behind leaving kissing on my neck. "Hey babe, I'm gonna head home, Paulette and Hannah are gonna drop me off. See you tomorrow." I nodded, kissing his lip before he left with both of them, the 3 waved goodbye. Sam's house was near the way of their homes so it was much easier to drop him off as well. Nora stayed behind with me.

"So, your house?" I nod. Nora was pretty much a orphan so she hung out with me a lot. We got in the car and headed to my house. We headed inside, my parents greeted us. As we went inside you can see my parents very affectionate with each other. "Man, it's nice to see how your parents still in love like that." I nod.

"Don't worry, you'll find your love soon." She smiled gratefully. I was lucky my parent still to this day loved each other given their circumstance. I was also lucky I had found Sam. We have been together for almost 2 years. I was not going to let Snow take him from me. I won't let her get in my way this time.
