Episode 3: No Mercy The slap Sophie expected never came. What came instead— Was war. Raven grabbed her by the hair and slammed her against the wall of the private suite. “You really thought I wouldn’t figure it out?” Raven’s voice was low, deadly. Sophie struggled, trying to push her off. “You’re nothing—just a girl he’ll get tired of—” The punch cut her off. Hard. Fast. Unforgiving. Raven didn’t stop. Every hit carried anger. Betrayal. Rage. “For the lies.” Another hit. “For the setup.” Another. “For touching what’s mine—” Sophie fell to the floor, bleeding, barely able to breathe. The room had gone silent. No one dared to move. Raven stood over her, chest rising, eyes cold. “Stay away from him,” she said quietly. “Next time, I won’t stop.” The Aftermath Luca was still sitting on the edge of the bed. Something wasn’t right. His head felt heavy. His vision blurred. Pieces of the night replayed—but they didn’t fit. Sophie. The drink. The sudden dizziness. Then Raven’s voice. Sharp. Controlled. Watching everything. His jaw tightened. “Get everyone out,” he said. No one argued. The Realization The door shut. Silence. Luca stood slowly, running a hand through his hair. “What happened?” he asked, voice rough. Raven didn’t answer immediately. She just watched him. “Think,” she said. He frowned. And then— It hit him. The drink. The way his body stopped responding the way it should. The fog. The loss of control. His expression darkened instantly. “…I was drugged.” The Truth Comes Out Raven stepped closer. “Yes.” No hesitation. No softness. Just truth. Luca’s eyes shifted to where Sophie had been dragged out. For a second— Silence. Then his fist slammed into the wall. Hard enough to crack it. “She did this,” he said, voice low, shaking with rage. Raven didn’t defend Sophie. Didn’t soften it. “She wanted me gone,” Raven said. “And you… broken.” That was all it took. The Monster Wakes Up Luca wasn’t just angry. He was something worse. Controlled rage. The kind that destroys everything quietly. “Bring her back,” he ordered. Within minutes, Sophie was dragged into the room again—weak, bruised, terrified. This time… She knew she had lost. No More Lies Luca walked toward her slowly. No shouting. No chaos. That made it worse. “Sophie,” he said calmly, “look at me.” She hesitated. Then did. Wrong move. “Did you drug me?” Silence. Tears filled her eyes. “I—I just wanted you to see me—” That was enough. The Judgment Luca turned away from her like she was nothing. “Take her out.” Her eyes widened. “Luca, please—!” He didn’t even look back. “If she ever comes near me again…” his voice dropped, cold and final, “…it won’t end with bruises.” The guards didn’t wait. They dragged her out. Her screams echoed down the hallway. Then— Silence. The Quiet After War The room felt different now. Heavier. Luca stood still for a moment… then turned to Raven. For once— He didn’t look powerful. He looked human. “I would never…” he started, then stopped. Didn’t know how to finish. Raven held his gaze. “I know.” And that? That hit harder than anything else. Chapter 32: The Line That Changed Everything He stepped closer. Slowly. Carefully. Like she might walk away. “I don’t lose control,” he said quietly. “I don’t make mistakes like that.” Raven tilted her head slightly. “But you trust the wrong people,” she replied. Silence. Truth. Final Line In the mafia world… Enemies don’t always come with guns. Sometimes— They come with smiles, history… …and poison in a glass.
