As I approached the bottom of the stairs, I stopped mid-step when I caught sight of something beautiful which was sitting on the side table behind my couch.
Where did they come from?.
I walked over to the table and eyed up the beautiful bouquet of red roses which are my favourite.
There was a card sitting in front of them with my name written on it and I quickly picked it up to read it.
