Let the games begin

At the end of the will reading, everyone came to understand all Papa Li wanted was for Peter and Ana to be married and remain married for at least six years. Then and only then will all parties receive their inheritance. Ana returned home that night in one of Xung's luxurious cars to the surprise of Rose. That wasn't the only surprise Rose got that night, when Ana finished telling her the details of the reading, she was weak on her feet and had to sit down. Rose was super excited for Ana, she thought it was good news and should be celebrated. Ana just moved from a nobody to a billionaire and to crown it all was to marry the most eligible bachelor in the country. Every woman’s dream, Rose expected Ana to jump all around in excitement but she wasn't, she was rather cold. Ana understood why Rose wanted her to be happy, but she couldn't, because the man she was going to marry didn't like her. He hates her, she disgusts them and she is nothing to him but she has no choice, and to think she feels something for him makes things worse. Everyone who has an inheritance in Papa Li’s will is looking up to Peter and her to do the right thing. She has to marry Peter, claim her inheritance, and give herself and Rose a good life. Peter has come to terms with his reality. Marry the low-life or lose his inheritance. He wasn't going to lose it all, he would marry Ana and then find a way to claim the other half of the Xung wealth from her in the six years of their marriage. Peter now understood what his grandfather was doing, it was a game and he was ready to play that game and he was going to win. Stella had succeeded in convincing Peter in the two weeks that have passed since after the reading. To see Papa Li’s demands in his will as a game and Peter had come to that conclusion. He would play the game and he would win. To start the game, he had to proceed and marry the gold-digging Ana, to put that in motion, he decided to send Ana a text. In his room, Peter typed on his phone a message he intended to send to Ana regarding their wedding agreement. His girlfriend, Rita sat on his bed, while his mother, Stella, sat on a chair opposite Rita. They were all in agreement for him to message Ana, to get the game started. “Done and sent,” Peter announced to Stella and Rita. “Good one my boy, you said everything?” Stella asked as he walked up to Peter. “Every last detail” he answered as his heart swelled with pride. “Good one my boy” Stella applauds Peter for taking the bold step. “And in six years, we will get everything back,” Stella said and smiled. “I promise you, Mom, I would get every single thing from that little witch” “And my jewelry” Stella had not forgotten how Papa Li had cheated her of it. She still had eyes for them. “Every single one of them Mom, I'd rather see them on you, than that poor dirty thief,” he declared. Stella smiled, pleased with her son. “And what about me?” Rita, who had been watching both mother and son, puts in. “And my darling, you would always have me” Peter declared walking towards her. Rita knew that she had heard him say that several times since they began dating three years ago. But now he is marrying another woman, what then becomes of her? She had always dreamt of their wedding and how it would be the talk of the country. She has even gone around boosting among her friends how they were going to have a grand wedding, and now Peter is marrying someone else, her friends would laugh at her, and to think it was a lowlife that took her man away, how would she face them? Rita wanted to know. “You keep saying that, yet you have to marry another” Rita told him and frowned. “It is the truth, you will always have me and I will have you” “You will have me as a mistress!” The thought of that upsets Rita. Peter didn't know how to respond, because in truth she would have to be his mistress for six years if Rita loved him. “You want me as a mistress!” Rita repeated. “Yes, if you love me_ you know why I have to marry this girl, if I don't I will lose the Xung wealth, or would you want me to?” “No!” she answered and shook her head. She would never have anything to do with a penny-less man. Peter’s family wealth and name are some of the reasons she was with him; she would never have him if he had none of them. But Peter doesn't know that, he was fooled by her beauty, a Top-class model, and charms and she was also from a reputable rich family, Peter would rather have her as a wife. “Then, stay with me my darling, let me marry this gold digger, and in six years, we will be divorced and I will come for you” Peter pleaded. Rita looked at him and saw his sincerity, six years wasn't that long to wait to get her hands into the Xung wealth like she had always wanted. “Are you sure?” she asked looking from Peter to Stella. “He is, we are, I too assure you. He would divorce the little witch in six years and marry you as it should be” Stella took out the words from Peter's mouth before he could say them again to her. “You promise,” she looked into Peter's eyes. “I promise,” he said. “But, I will have all of you in these six years, you are never going to be with her, I would have you all to myself” Rita pulled him close by his shirt collar to make her point. “You will have all of me, she is never going to get any of this_” Peter leaned in and deep kissed her. “Aww! Get a room guys” Stella reacted to their intimacy in her presence. “You are the one in the wrong room, you should leave” Peter joked. They all laughed. “My Daring, you have nothing to worry about, the gold digger and I would only be married in papers, she gets nothing else from me. I will make it a hell of a marriage for her. She would regret ever trying to use the kind Papa Li to get into the Xung family” Peter promised.
