All my years on this planet I've never thought I'd be chasing after a woman.
But right now I'm running as if my life depends on it.
Sydney probably just ruined any chance of my mate trusting me..she made her run away when she kissed me
What if she hurt herself..?what if she's lost..what if she kill..okay enough of the negative thoughts.
"We need to find our mate"xander shouted through the link

Hailey's POV
He...he kissed another woman right after he was about to kiss me
Is that what mate bonds are like?if so I don't want one
as soon as their lips collided I ran out the door crying feeling my heart hurt and hearing my wolf whimper...
So I ran,I ran till I couldn't run again
When I stopped I found a puddle of mud and used it to cover my scent.I stayed in my human form and climbed a tree to rest for the night and think of what I was going to do the next morning.
Just as I was about to close my eyes, an arrow hit my arm and that was all I felt before everything went dark.

I don't know how long it was till I gained consciousness but it was still dark like something was over my head, and when I tried to move my hands they we stuck together and chains clanged.
There were people talking in hushed voices around me but I could tell that we were in a moving vehicle by the wind hitting against whatever was on my head
I struggled trying to free my hands at least but to my dismay it didn't work.
