Chapter 5

Emily was a friend of Samantha, she was in the dorm when Samantha returned looking like she had seen a ghost. The both of them has been friends since birth but she had never seen her in such a state. She tried coaxing her to tell her what was wrong but Samantha didn't say a thing.

Emily got out of the room, she was sure she would find something the moment she stepped out.

On getting outside, she met with one of her friends who told her everything that happened even adding a little to the original story.

Emily was pissed and asked where she could find Sarah. Her friend told her she was at the the keeper's office taking the beginner's test.

Emily went to the test ground close to the keeper's office. It was about 20 meters west of the keeper's office. The keeper's office was actually huge spanning over a killometer.

The test was carried out in a three storey building.

Sarah was having her final test in the second floor when Emily arrived.

Emily was able to get her hands on the test result and when she did, she shared it among the students.

Finn made his way to Sarah and Caleb, Finn could tell that something was amiss. He was suppose to help conduct Sarah's test but he was summoned by one the school's guardian. Guardians were proper werewolves who supervised the school.

Caleb was the first to notice him, he also noticed the way he was staring at her even from afar. He quickly walked up to him.

“Why are you staring at her like that?,”

“What do you mean”, Finn asked trying to act innocent.

Caleb could tell his cousin was hiding a secret which he didn't want to divulge.

Finn ignored him and walked up to Sarah. He could tell that something was wrong with her.

“ Is there a problem? ”

Sarah didn't say anything but stared at the result in her hands. A lot of things were going through her mind. The result on her hand showed that she wasn't someone meant for something great but why then did she meet the seer and Alexa. She began to doubt herself, unfortunately Alexa couldn't hear her thought or she would have assured her that something was wrong with the test equipment.

Seeing Sarah lost in her thoughts, Finn took the results from her hands and looked through it.

“There's something definitely wrong with the test”, Finn said after glancing through it.

His voice seemed to have pulled Sarah from her thoughts.

“I know right”, Caleb concord

Looking at the both of them, Sarah smiled.

“Guys, thank you”

“I didn't say it to make you feel better, there actually is something wrong with the test system,” Finn said firmly.

The witch stood at the top of Exi mountain looking towards the distance.

Not long after, her right hand man arrived. He stood at some distance between her, like he was afraid his presence would ruin her.

“The first ritual has been conducted, empress,” He said from the distance.

“Tell him to move on to the next target as soon as possible,” she said.

She seemed to be unhappy with the pace at which her plan was going.

“What about the other thing I asked you to do?”

“It was successful, we just have to wait for the result, ” he humbly responded.

“Good”

Sarah felt like she had been sleeping for years when she woke up. She couldn't exactly tell the kind of dream she had, it felt like she was in the middle of a sacrifice being performed.

She moved to the bathroom to wash her face. Each dorm was big enough for two students to occupy in the academy, it had two queen size bed and a study table for each occupant. Sarah was yet to see who her roommate is. The dorm area was covered by the moon so it was always night.

Coming from the bathroom, Sarah walked over to her table to sit but not long after, she heard a knock on the door.

She walked over to the door and opened it and was stunned at the beauty that stood before her.

“Oh my, you do have fate with the pretty boys in this academy don't you,” Alexa commented with a grin.

Sarah had to admit that the person standing before her couldn't be thoroughly described with the word handsome.

She felt like he was handsomely beautiful. He had an imposing height that gave him an aura of confidence.

Jack was taken aback at the face that stared questionly at him.

No female he came across could stare at him the way she did without tensing up and looking away but she was different. She seem also to make his heart race.

He pushed open the door and walked inside. Sarah was shocked at his attitude.

“Hey mister, did you realize this is a girl's room,” Sarah angrily said. She hated the way he carried himself like everyone and everything was under his control.

Jack turned to look at her without saying anything. This person had pigue his interest. But before he could say or do anything she had grabbed him pulling him towards the door.

She tossed him outside before slamming the door. Not just Jack but everyone at the hall who had witnessed this was shocked.

Jack didn't know what to say or do, one of the guardians of the academy had sent him to check on Emilia who had not been seen by anyone for two days now. He didn't expect to have been thrown out even before he could ask after her.

“You've been like this since you met Sarah, Scott, is there something you're not telling me?” Caleb asked.

Finn glared at him and Caleb quickly realized his mistake.

“I'm sorry, we are alone and I thought it would be okay to call you by your true name,”Caleb quickly apologized.

”She's the one”, Finn turned away from him and said.

“What do you mean by……”Caleb trailed on his words when he understood what Finn meant. He hurried over and sat next to to him.

That were currently sited at the top of Finn's favorite building in the academy.

“How did you find out?, was it her smell?, but her test result wasn't impressive, how are you so sure that she's your mate? ” Caleb fired in quick succession.

“No, it wasn't her smell and I have told you before, I'm different from other werewolves, my heart would race anytime I get close to my mate and the moon's color would turn blue whenever she appears for the first time ”, Finn explained.

“What are you waiting for then, why haven't you told her?”

“She's not yet ready ”

“And what exactly do you mean by she's not yet ready, the sooner she gets together with you, the better,”Caleb argued.

“Haven't you asked yourself why she's here in the first place?” Finn asked him.

Caleb thought for a while and came to a sudden realization.
