Chapter 2

Sarah went back through the path that led her to the woman's home. She was hoping she would get to her before the attackers did.

She had kept the direction because she wanted to visit the woman again to be sure of what she had proclaimed earlier.

She wanted to win her brother and that's why she didn't take the woman's words to heart. She remembered that the woman sounded like she knew the park would be attacked and thus she was running to go find her as she felt she might have something like an advice.

Sarah arrived at where she thought the woman would be but she couldn't find her.

The hut was still there but the woman wasn't. If she hadn't walked that woman here Sarah could have sworn that nobody visited here for the past decades because of how the place was looking.

All of the wolf world was beautiful, the views from the mountains and hills could take one soul away, the world was just stunning no matter what season it is. Surprisingly, there was desolate ground, just like the name, this area was like a forgotten place. It used to be the home to one of the greatest parks over a million years ago. Nobody knew how the park ended up like this.

In what seems to be the highest point on this land, stood an impressive 800 meter tall castle.

Even with how bleak the land was, this castle still had its elegance, it gave a wynoriffic feeling.

With how high this castle was, it had just the ground floor and so if you were to be inside, you just couldn't see the top, but surprisingly, there was a throne at the top and a woman sat on it. It was difficult to make out her face because it was shrouded in darkness just like the castle. The only source of light for this castle was from the over a hundred different brightly coloured paintings of different werewolves, all of them a woman which were scattered across the walls.

"speak", a majestic voice came from above.

There was a man prostrating on the ground, it felt like it was a taboo trying to raise his head to see the top.

"Everything is going the way you plan, witch empress." the man reported.

It was weird a werewolf would want to be regarded as a witch but then, she had supernatural powers aside her wolf's powers to back it up.

After hearing this, she let out a laugh.

Truth be told, her laugh could make one have the feeling of wanting to hear her laugh again because it was pleasing to the ears.

"That's beautiful", her majestic and angelic voice said.

"I hope that fool will be able to kill Scott this time", she added.

She seemed to have thought of something and she grinned to herself.

"Prepare, I'll be stepping out", she said.

The man on the floor was shocked, because since he had been serving the witch, which has been more than a thousand years now, she had never left the castle.

He wasn't only shocked but happy.

"Yes, witch empress, " he responded.

"You may leave "

He nodded on the floor and rose to leave.

The distance between where he was and the exit was 500 meters but nobody was allowed to use his or her powers in the castle, so he had to walk.

As he walked away, he thought to himself with a smile.

"Finally, the queen is making a move".

Sarah woke up and discovered she was in a body that didn't belong to her. She tried recollecting her thoughts when she heard a voice.

"You're finally awake", the voice of spoke.

Sarah was startled, she looked around and noticed she was alone.

She didn't know where the source of the voice was.

"I'm part of you, maybe you could say I'm like a subconsciousness ", the voice spoke again.

" Where I'm I?, and who I'm I?", Sarah asked.

"You're the new me", the voice answered.

"And you're on a mission of vengeance", it added.

"Oh,.... but what exactly I'm I taking vengeance for?, Sarah asked again

"And you should have a name right?, she added.

"I'm Alexa and did you seriously just ask what you're avenging for?" Derek led his park to attack yours and it was almost wiped out, not just that, you lost every member of your family… "

"What do you mean by I lost every member of my family, I told my brother to run home and inform my parents, are you saying he didn't make it?"Sarah interrupted with a shaky voice.

Alexa went quiet in silent acknowledgement.

Sarah couldn't believe it, she refused to believe it.

The news came as a shock to her, she had thought her family would be saved.

Sarah just wasn't herself for months, she found it difficult recovering from the death of her family.

She wanted to recover all of the powers she lost because of her rebirth so she could avenge the death of her family but she just couldn't.

In the past months, both Sarah and Alexa had gotten acquainted with themselves.

Alexa told her how her mate cheated on her and killed her after he learned she had killed his mistress.

Alexa told her there was a way to recover her powers quickly and that was by joining a wolf warrior school.

Sarah agreed with her and joined the noble wolf warrior academy.

Sarah arrived at an ordinary looking cliff which had a cave at the bottom.

"Are you certain this is the place?"

"Of course, I know it looks ordinary but it actually has a hidden dimension inside, this is an open secret." Alexa assured her.

"Alright"

Sarah walked into the cave, as she did, she felt like she had walked past a bubble, she was shocked when she saw the inside of the cave.

When she saw the cave from the outside, she felt it was too small to house even a dwarf but looking inside now, she felt she had arrived at a whole new world.
