After the weekend craze with her friends, Tega got home late Saturday night to see a notice at her door step stating that she is to vacate the house latest by Monday as the landlord was converting her apartment into an office, also that the landlord didn't want to accommodate a single female in his apartment anymore. Tega was so angry she called Craig and Tony but none of them picked her call, she kept fuming while also arranging her stuffs for the move, she placed some of her things in her car but the lifting of load and walking to and fro made her exhausted in no time, she called the landlord to give him a piece of her mind but he didn't pick up as well, knowing what he had done would result into an outrage from the tenant, honestly he had nothing personal against her but the landlord's association were making things difficult for him.

Monday morning Tega put her remaining box containing her clothes into her car and drove off to work with the intention of going over to a friend's after work but just when she stepped into the office, the secretary handed her a letter stating that they were letting her go, it was like her world was crashing down, first the house and now her job, she felt numb and couldn't even bring herself to utter any word, she picked up her thing and left with as much dignity that she could, she sat in her car for about 30mintues trying to reach out to her friends but none of them was picking up, so with no house to go to and no job to stay back for she decided to head straight to Oklahoma, surely her dad would be glad to see her after all this while.

she started driving straight to Oklahoma but close to funk's Grove her car broke down, things just kept getting worse for her and she soon started feeling so depressed that she felt no emotion at all, it was all too much to take in at once, were was her friends when she needed them the most, after an hour of waiting under the hot sun, she spotted a convertible heading her way and this gave her a little hope that maybe she was not completely out of luck yet, luckily the car stopped and a handsome man walked towards her, he introduced himself but Tega only caught the part where he mentioned his name, she was lost starring into his eyes, she quickly gave herself a mental warning to be careful with strangers but she couldn't ignore his offer to help, he must be willing to help she thought order wise he wouldn't have stopped, so she introduced herself and asked for a ride to the next town where she can rent a car to continue her journey. Aiden took her bag and she sat at the passenger seat while he got behind the will and started driving, she was thinking about him, how he looks like a man who has his life in order and he look so cute, if she had a man like this she would at least have a shoulder to cry on right now, but what came out of his mouth in the next minute stopped her daydreaming. he wanted her to grab a cola from the back seat but that wasn't what pissed her off, she would have gladly done that as that is the least she could do, after all he was helping her out already, what pissed her off was the tone he used and the commanding words, she turned her red eyes to his and he knew immediately that she was beyond pissed, she snapped at that moment, remembering how she was sent out of her apartment for being a single woman, lost her job because the company was bought by another organisation and they were letting the staffs go, her car breaking down and she staying under the scorching sun for close to an hour, she let out all the pent up frustration on him, stating in a clear and precise words how it was so rude of him to command her like a bimbo who was placed on the planet earth just to satisfy his every wish and command, she blamed him for the weather, her car breaking down, losing her job, and being kicked out of her apartment by the time she was done, he had to pack by the road side, loosen his seat belt and turned back to grab two cola offering her one, she's got spirit and he likes that alot although currently he couldn't even look her straight in the eyes, he felt bad she went through all that in the space of 2days and after handing her the cola, he offered his apology as soberly as he could and gradually with a lot of breathing in and out exercise from her, he saw her calming down.
